Some ideas / questions

I understand this feature is very much a work in progress. But I do have some questions and thoughts:

We have an informal care home on our premises. This house has a seperate homewizard power meter, which can show negative ofcourse if their solar panels are working. They have their own solar panels too. Their mains are connected to our main smart meter with a p1 dongle (also homewizard). This all is a bit confusing for Homey I think. I’m not sure how to handle this.

Second, my EV car and EV charger isn’t showing up as such in the energy tab. Even though both are connected through their respective apps. Is this still a work in progress?

My EV charger wasn’t also in the Energy tab. But when I changed my device EV Charger to the right type of device, I had a car in my garage…

How did you change the type?
I see no such option on my Easee EV chargers in Homey.

EDIT: When looking at other threads it looks like the developer of the plugin needs to classify the devices as wallbox?

I did set the device to “EV lader”. And there is a car in the garage… but there is nothing in the overview about a car and battery level etc. I cant set my car as type ‘car’

The Tesla Battery isn’t listed or working, so can’t see the Powerwall battery charge,

Same for Myeneri Zappi smart charger, doesn’t show as a car charger either. Zappi shows as a consumer though.

Firmware version = experimental
App version = beta / testflight

I suspect the answer to be: yes
If you don’t want to be part of the test team, you’d wait for the stable releases imho.

I love testing. I don’t see this as complaining but as feed back to a test. :smirk:

If you responded to me: I’m not saying you’re complaining.
I only wanted to show it is a work in progress at this point in time, which you could skip.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone else noticed devices suddenly disappearing from the energy list with prices?

For the first few days, I had a smart plug with metering that showed up in the list, but now it’s suddenly gone. :worried:

I’ve tried disabling and re-enabling the devices for energy monitoring, but unfortunately, it didn’t work. The metering data is still being recorded, and the device itself is working fine.

Does anyone have suggestions for me to try?
