Hi there Couldn’t find an entry here in the Homey Community Forum regarding Eve Energy Plug integration, but a solution by searching the internet. Maybe this information is useful for other Homey Pro and Eve Energy users. Could just add an **Eve Energy Plug** which was already connected in Apple Home (HomeKit). What was new for me is, that a Matter device, which is already paired in Apple Home, can generate a second pairing code for pairing with Homey Pro in my case. Hi, I successfully paired EVE Motion and Eve Door and Windows Sensors, using Matter for the setup on iOS. Typically, Matter devices are already integrated with HomeKit through/Matter. You can verify this connection in the “Matter” section under Preferences \> General \> Matter devices. ![IMG_1036](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/8/1/81935099c8e315d3f0d50bc5fd6f69bdc31552ca.png) I managed to establish a connection with both Homey Pro and HomeKit (5180, the assigned node for Homey). You don’t need to remove the device from HomeKit; it can coexist with both platforms. But it works very well. I don’t have the EVE Energy. Of course you have to migrate all of your EVE devices to Matter before. ---

Also good to read, for what I understand, The Situation on Thread and Matter will be better … A “section” is currently absent in Homey to consolidate all Matter devices. While researching I found the mentioned TomsSmarthome solution. Let’s hope, that the stable version from Homey will **support Energy metering** with **Eve Energy** in future… That’s definitely a big wish for the future. In the mean time I’m happy to be able to switch the plug in Homey at least and the metering is accessible in the Eve app till then. ---

Any update regarding the energy metering since the last message of January? Seems [the app](https://homey.app/en-us/app/com.evehome/Eve-Home/) only had minor updates, but maybe energy metering is Matter specific? ---

Energy reporting is part of Matter 1.3, which Homey doesn’t support yet. ---

Will added support of Matter 1.3 to Homey mean that the Eve Energy plugs will report their energy consumption right away? Or will it require an update to the Eve app first? ---

Only Athom can tell if an update to Matter 1.3 will support energy reporting (it’s part of the Matter 1.3 specification but it depends on Athom implementing those parts of the spec). Apps cannot provide specific device support for Matter (other than providing device icons), so an app update isn’t required. ---

Athom team - could you please give an update on Matter 1.3 roadmap plans? Energy monitoring is an important part of a Smart Home, and I am waiting for this before doing anything more (and presently regretting the investment in Eve Matter products). ---

As mentioned in [another topic](https://community.homey.app/t/eve-energy-smart-plug-will-consumption-be-supported-in-future/117966/43), Eve Energy firmware needs to be updated [version to 3.5.0 to provide Matter Energy Reporting](https://www.evehome.com/en/matter-release-notes). After that the device must be re-added to Homey and the energy reporting will work. ---

Thanks for this info @praseodym. Eve Energy Matter Firmware 3.5.0 update does finally enable energy reporting in Homey 😊 and also proper working in HomeKit now. ---

Now if I could just get my Eve Energy In-Wall Outlets (US) to update to the 3.5.1 firmware. Hopefully Home will release the Matter Firmware Update tools soon. ---
