# Smart plug won't switch on at dusk, but switches off at the correct time

New to the app, but have been struggling with the terminology. I’ve a smart plug connected to a standard lamp and I want it to turn on at dusk and off at 23.15. I tried “circulate” to do this on a daily basis at first but the light didn’t switch on. I eventually discovered '“SCENES” and found the on at dusk feature and told the app where I live. Still sitting in the dark waiting for it to be switched on! I’m obviously doing something wrong. The app happily turns the light off at 23.15, so it’s connected somehow.

Hi Norman, welcome.
You’ll need two standard flows.
Both triggers (a.k.a. “When” cards) are built-in Homey flow cards.
You can use one advanced flow canvas instead, but it still needs these two separate “flows”.

I’m sorry but I don’t see that screen on my app.
What is a Homey flow card? My screen is green and if I could find a way to attach screenshots I could show you.

I can’t recall to ever having seen a green screen with Homey.
Are you sure you refer to [Homey](https://homey.app/en-nl/) and the accompanying [Homey app](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.homey)?

I’m not using Homey . I searched for help with my Tuya app, and Google ai directed me to this site. Should I get Homey?

This is not the correct forum. But to answer your question: these are the automations you’d need in the Tuya app:
Make sure you set your location in Me-\>Home Management-\>[your home]-\>Location.
