Why is it not an option to be able to search for test apps?
Like you can for live apps.

Or is it some hidden switch/setting?

Like the other day (yesterday), it was a user that had problems with his network.
And I could not find/remember the test app, for diagnosing the thread network

Because those are not certified/checked by Athom yet, so they aren’t supposed to be public

Yes I do understand that, but maybe it should be a setting / tickbox, for it.
The user did fixit on his own, but it might be helpful in future.
To find other apps that may help

And still it’s up to the user to install the apps anyway

Test apps were never meant to be installed by “regular” users, only by testers a developer had specifically invited using their email address. This was changed later so that anyone with the app URL can install it.

I know test apps are not for public.
Still it could be searchable.

A tickbox. And add a disclaimer

" you are now entering an appstore that can burn down your homey" 🙂
Or something like that.

Well it is what it is, I guess.
