Richtig. Nach 10 Metern ist da meistens Feierabend. Sowas mit Zwave oder Wlan (von Shelly) und ich würde sofort ein paar bestellen.  
Ich sag ja, was zum Spielen, aber als Homey Komponente vermutlich nicht zu gebrauchen.  
Die Xiaomi Pflanzensensoren sind damit zu vergleichen und funktionieren auch mit Bluetooth. Die Reichweite ist hier auch sehr bescheiden.

Also bei mir hängt der Ruuvi Tag an der Balkontür und ist quer durch die Wohnung durch 1 sehr dicke Wand (~50cm) und eine mit ca 15cm erreichbar. Ca. 10 Meter sind es, würde ich sagen, wenn ich weitergehe gibt’s nen Fenstersturz
