# Run an advanced flow without a event trigger

Hi,

I would like to run an advance flow from the homey interface on my phone.  
It seems every flow must have an if (why?)  
In the past you had to use the “when this flow is started” to do this.  
This option has now been removed. How to do this now?  
Would it be technically hard to have flows without an if statement just start when you select start in the app. I thought it was one of the ambitions of Homey to be accesible even to beginners.

Just add a Start button to your flow.
