Well, when adding the basestation through the [Ring Doorbell, Camera and Alarm support for Homey](https://community.homey.app/t/ring-doorbell-camera-and-alarm-support-for-homey/76364) app it will function as it is, no changes are made to your system, you will just be able to access and control it in Homey.  
Think it’s best to post your questions there as it has nothing to do with this app.
