# Ring Doorbell, Camera and Alarm support for Homey

Hi Mark,

Yes, I will most likely also make the Keypad available in this app, but it will not offer the same functionality as when it’s connected via Z-Wave as it is in the [Ring Security](https://community.homey.app/t/ring-security-extend-heimdall-with-ring-security-products/47287) app.

It will be added as part of the Ring Alarm System, and will most likely only offer the battery level (it does not expose much more when reading it from the Ring Alarm System) You will _not_ be able to use it as a Keypad for [Heimdall](https://community.homey.app/t/heimdall-let-homey-watch-over-your-home/134).
