# Restore Matter device after accidental delete?

Is it possible to restore/add a Matter device (from Philips Hue bridge) which was accidentally deleted in Homey? I can’t use the same pair code again, so what to do?

Isn’t this how it works? Worth a shot:

Don’t try to add the Matter device to Homey, but (remove and) re-add it to the Hue hub:

I just had this issue and removing and then adding it again to the Hue hub worked
