\*\*What is the brand:\*\*

E.ON Energy(UK)

\*\*What is/are the device(s)/service for type:\*\*

Energy usage, both Electricity and Gas, possibly extending to variable rates, car charging and Solar Panels.

\*\*What kind of category/signal(s) would the app use:\*\*

- Private service (likely E.On Servers)

\*\*Is there a (public) API / documentation / manual(s) or known (other) implementations (like Blogs/Github etc)?\*\*

There is a Home Assistant integration (see: [GitHub - madmachinations/eon-next: Home Assistant custom component for energy tracking with Eon Next · GitHub](https://github.com/madmachinations/eon-next))

There is also some form of integration directly to the smart meter and/or E.ON databases using a code on the smart display provided by E.ON. USwitch, a UK company that provides comparison data for a number of areas, including energy contracts, uses this to access a customer’s historical energy data

\*\*Are you willing to loan or donate to a developer?\*\*

Happy to beta test and provide access to smart display code if this is the chosen development approach.

Extra info:

see wiki for E.ON ([E.ON - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E.ON)) and E.ON UK ([E.ON UK - Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/E.ON_UK))

**What is the brand:**
Ratio (website: [https://www.ratio-electric.com](https://www.ratio-electric.com))

**What is/are the device(s)/service for type:**
EV charging station. Specifically the Ratio chargers managed through the official Ratio app (including the Ratio Solar). The app would show charging status and power, and allow starting/stopping a charge.

**What kind of category/signal(s) would the app use:**
Via the cloud API behind the official Ratio app (AWS Cognito authentication + REST). Optionally also Bluetooth (BLE) for local control without the cloud (the charger uses the Inspiro IPC protocol over BLE).

**Is there an (public) API / documentation / manual(s) or known (other) implementations (like Blogs/Github etc)?**
Yes. There is an open-source, reverse-engineered Python client and a working Home Assistant integration:

- aioratio (async Python client for the Ratio cloud API, including optional BLE): [Github](https://github.com/aaearon/aioratio)
- Home Assistant integration by the same author: [Github](https://github.com/aaearon/home-assistant-ratio)

The API is not officially documented by Ratio itself; the projects above document the endpoints, the Cognito authentication flow and the data models quite thoroughly in their READMEs.

**Are you willing to loan or donate to a developer?**
Yes, donate money

**Extra information:**
There is no Ratio app in the Homey App Store yet. A working prototype build by myself (with Claude and no programming knowledge) already exists, built with the Python Apps SDK + the aioratio library: pairing with a Ratio account, plus capabilities for power, charging state, car connected, charging blocked, grid-operator power reduction (DSO), error/fault alarm, firmware-update available, and (approximated) kWh.

**What is the brand:**

Daikin – REIRI for Home

**What is/are the device(s)/service for type:**

- Airconditioning
- Ventilation
- Heating and cooling
- Smart-home/building-control bridge
- Temperature, air-quality and energy monitoring

REIRI is a Daikin control system that can manage air conditioning, heat pumps, ventilation and other connected devices. A Homey app could display and control REIRI management points, including:

- On/off
- Current and target temperatures
- Heating, cooling, fan and automatic modes
- Fan speed
- Ventilation mode and status
- Equipment status and faults
- Indoor-air-quality measurements, where available

These capabilities could then be used in Homey Flows and Advanced Flows.

**What kind of category/signal(s) would the app use:**

- IP (Local/Cloud/WiFi);
- Other: REIRI communicates with Daikin equipment and can also integrate selected Modbus and Z-Wave devices.

A local IP integration would be preferred. REIRI controllers connect to the local network, and Daikin’s technical FAQ identifies network ports 80, 52000, 52001, 52010 and 123. The exact local protocol does not appear to be publicly documented.

**Is there an (public) API / documentation / manual(s) or known (other) implementations (like Blogs/Github etc)?**

There does not appear to be a publicly documented third-party API. However, the following official information and applications may help:

Daikin New Zealand – REIRI for Home:

> **[Reiri for Home](https://www.daikin.co.nz/pages/reiri-for-home)**
>
> Reiri for Office allows users to monitor and control the air conditioning system with a smartphone or tablet from anywhere.

Daikin Australia – System Controllers:

> **[Controllers for Commercial Systems | Daikin | Daikin Australia](https://www.daikin.com.au/products/commercial/system-controllers)**
>
> Enhance your environment with Daikin's advanced controllers. Offering Wi-Fi capability & efficient management for any commercial setting.

Daikin REIRI product information:

> **[Reiri](https://www.daikinmea.com/en_us/product-group/control-systems/reiri.html)**
>
> Smart controller for Daikin systems in homes, offices, or hotels.

Official REIRI technical FAQ, including network, Modbus, Z-Wave and Google Home information:

> **[FAQ](https://www.daikin-solutions.com/faq)**
>
> FAQ

REIRI Setup Tool for Android:

>
> This app requires Reiri Controller to work...

REIRI Setup Tool for iOS:

> **[Reiri Setup Tool App - App Store](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/reiri-setup-tool/id1552655336)**
>
> Download Reiri Setup Tool by Daikin Airconditioning (Singapore) Pte Ltd on the App Store. See screenshots, ratings and reviews, user tips, and more apps like…

A separate REIRI user application is available for controlling the system.

REIRI already has a Google Home integration. Daikin states that air-conditioning and Z-Wave management points can be transferred to Google Home. Available air-conditioning controls include on/off, target temperature, operating mode and fan speed. This indicates that an existing interface for accessing REIRI management points may be available, although it is not publicly documented.

**Are you willing to loan or donate to a developer?**

The controller forms part of a permanently installed system, so it cannot readily be removed. However, I would be willing to assist a developer remotely with testing, diagnostics and non-sensitive technical information from an operational REIRI system.

**Extra information:**

There is currently no known Homey app supporting Daikin REIRI.

An initial read-only app would still be useful if full control cannot be implemented immediately. Ideally, a completed integration would provide Homey capabilities and Flow cards for:

- Reading current temperatures
- Reading and changing temperature setpoints
- Turning equipment on and off
- Reading and changing operating modes
- Reading and changing fan speed
- Monitoring ventilation operation
- Monitoring equipment availability and fault status
- Triggering Flows when temperatures, modes or operating states change

Local communication would be strongly preferred for faster responses, operation without an internet connection and avoiding reliance on a cloud service.
