# Problem in addind Aeotec Range Extender 7

Hi. I try adding Aeotec Range Extender 7 to homey , but i can’t . Homey doesn’t find it. I have already Aeotec Extender 6 and it is working good. I have bought it from Amazon US . Do you think that this is maybe the problem? USA zwave different from EU ? Thanks for any help!

Yes, the frequentie is different for USA and EU and will not work with each other, so if it was shipped with a USA chip (most likely if it was shipped _from_ USA) then it will not work with your EU Homey, ever.
