# Poll passive devices

Hi

I have some cheap temperature sensors in my setup. These report as “unavailable” most of the time due to not sending too much information back to Homey. Is it possible to poll these to keep them awake?

@Tiwas what are the devices from, how did you include them and what protocoll did they use?

depends on your answeres, a change of the app, a change of the homey software or a simple script can be required to make it possible. but also sometimes there are devices that can not be handled better

Not, not from these - sorry. They’re all 433MHz devices, so they’re as stupid as can be 😉
