# Phiips Hue kitchen lights brightness over time flow help

Hi Ryan, and welcome.

This should work, in theory:

If not, you can use a transition (tested):

I prefer the [Chronograph app](https://community.homey.app/t/app-pro-chronograph-adds-precise-timer-stopwatch-and-transition-functionality-to-homey/18214) for my transitions.

Result when transition duration was set to 3 instead of 30 minutes (just to speed up the test):
