# Outdoor Decoration Holiday Flow

I created a flow that will change the permanent christmas lights on our house to different patterns, same with the govee curtain lights, and turn on the outdoor outlets for the different decorations. I wanted to use a roulette system to pick a random light pattern for the house and the curtain lights. I also wrote a script so that it will change to a different column based on the holiday. For Thanksgiving, it will run through the month of November until Thanksgiving day. It was a lot of work, and so far has worked flawlessly. One hitch was for the outside projector. I had to use an IR blaster, as it can’t be incorporated into Homey. The hardest part was getting the timing down for the different IR commands. It is nice having everything start up on it’s own, 1 hour before sunset and shutting off at 11.

Also, I’m using Alexa to turn on virtual switches. If you can see them, you’ll see Kraken, Seahawks, Mariners switches. When a game comes on, it will change to the team colors and curtain lights. When the game is over, it will revert back to the holiday lights.
