# Offset sunset activation of flow by 5 hours

Is there a way to have a flow activate 5 hours before sunset

OK thanks. I figured out that I could use and advanced flow and it would allow 5 hours. But I will check out the app

No, onboard sunrise/-set offset is limited to 60 (or 120) minutes.

The Sun Events app is such a gem.

The way I do , is get the time of sunrise or set, do a calculation to reduce by 5 and then enter that time in timely as a trigger

Another way, without needing an app: use the sunset trigger and add a delay of 19 hours.

love the simplicity, peter. but please also look at timely, great little app to have flexible time based trigger, you can calculate with. really like the possibilities, and use it a lot
