The data in energy are not correct some days. Some days it works. Total consumption does not take into consideration the exported electricity

And the solar production specifies I have used 100 % in self consumption but thats not correct

Anyone that knows what can be the problem? Tibber Pulse for measuring electricity usage and Fronius inverter for solar, Homey Pro 2026.

Why wouldn’t it be correct?
If you didn’t import energy during a surplus of generated solar energy, your house used 100% solar energy (as shown by the blue line)!
_it doesn’t mean: your house used up all generated solar energy_.

You are correct about that, noticed that it showed only that hour.

But if I look at yesterday’s data it does not sum up correctly, from my point of view.

Solar 48.5 kWh generated and most of it exported. Shouldn’t it then be less than 87% self used.

And exported 6.5 kWh is also wrong according to the grafs.

Hmmmm I’ve a hard time understanding Homey energy 🫣😉
Does this help you?
[https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/19383696079132-Understanding-the-Homey-Energy-tab](https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/19383696079132-Understanding-the-Homey-Energy-tab)

I use the [Power-by-the-Hour community app](https://community.homey.app/t/20535), the “inspiration” for Homey energy, and works very well.

My values are correct until solar production stops. Then solar production and export values are going backwards…

Very weird ..

This probably is caused by the fact your inverter doesn’t shutdown after sunset, and starts to use (a little bit of) mains power instead of generating power at daytime.

This should be filtered out by the Energy tab of course \> I recommend to contact homey.app/support

(Same happens with EV chargers, their standby power usage is considered as “Charging” 🫣 )

Note / tip: my Solis inverter has an option to choose for night-shutdown or to keep it permanently online (and using mains power).

The inverter is also in use by the battery, so this can’t be disabled at night (discharging of battery for covering electricity usage at night)

From time 22:51 to 23:23

solar dropped 11,3 kWh

Exported energy also dropped 11 kWh

You don’t have much control over how Homey measures or calculates these values. You also don’t really know what it uses to show or calculate these values.

Stats in Homeassistant are correct and stay correct when solar stops
