# Non-breaking spaces in Device and Flow names

Hi, does Homey normalize the names of devices and flows?
I have found that in about half of my devices and flows, spaces in the title are replaced with a non-breaking space. (That’s characters U+0020 and U+00A0 for the Unicode-affectionados amongst you.)
Why or when this occurs, I do not know. Just setting a title in the web interface retains a space. It does not seem to break flows, also not the “Start Flow ” actions, even though that seems on of the places were a rename of a flow usually is not propagated.
However, finding a flow named “some title” will not find flows that are now renamed “some title” (where the query “sametitle”, and the title “sometitle”. This is annoying, so I want it to be consistent a space (since that is what I typically use for searching on names). About a year ago, I replaced all non-breaking space with spaces, but now I see a lot of non-breaking spaces again.

Have you tried setting a title with the mobile app?
