Hallo,

Niko offers these nice zigbee switches (also battery-free):

a-Would someone be able to tell me if these switches could talk to homey, to be used as a scene selector? Preferably NOT via the Hue bridge, but directly to Homey (due to the delay i expect it to have otherwise)
b- i would use it as a switch to arm/disarm the alarm system, but do that with a combination of pressing the 4 available switches (for instance press the top left once, and 2 times the bottom right means alarm goes off) like that i have a entry security access system, without it looking like one. Would that functionality work via homey?

Thanks in advance for your help!

I was also wondering if someone was building an app to support these.
Would like to apply these in my house as I have Niko switches already and these would not disrupt the look and feel.

Hello, just to inform you that it’s working.
Only the dimmer is not working.
First you have to add the friends of hue in the hue app then you have to add the tap device from hue into your homey.

Is there a way to dim with those devices already?

Yes!
You have a card that ‘s triggered when the button is « clicked and not relased » and with this card, you can defined if it’s up or down or both.
And another card thats triggered when the button is released.
With these cards you can manage dimable devices

That’s weird!
I still have 1 possibility. Do you use this via the Philips Hue app?

Hi, sorry for my bad explanation and my bad english… it’s not my mother language.
With this device [Niko friends of hue](https://www.niko.eu/nl-be/artikel/120-91004)
It’s without battery or power supplies !
with this, in homey, you only have the card “button clicked” and so it’s not possible to dim device. However, it can be add in the Hue app (without Homey) and in this case, you can dim devices but only devices available in the Hue App.

However !

You can use this device [Niko zigbee](https://www.niko.eu/nl-be/producten/schakelmateriaal-en-stopcontacten/draadloze-oplossingen/draadloze-schakelaar-met-batterij-viervoudig-zigbee-productmodel-niko-fd091fe8-7983-4dc8-bb0a-cffaf91e3f04)
and this device can be add in homey with the application [Niko Zigbee](https://homey.app/fr-be/app/eu.niko/Niko-Zigbee%C2%AE/)
and with this device/app, you can do all what you want in Homey.

I hope this 'll help you
