# New router and homey

I’m considering buying an orbi router.  
If I’m using the same login and password, is Homey then automaticly connectingto the new router?

Do you mean same login and password on Homey? Then yes. But Homey needs to connect to the wifi First. If on the orbi you set the ssid and wifi password the same as you had before, then All should work Straight away.

Ps dont forget to use the netgear app with your New orbi😉

I do use netgear already😋.  
At the moment i do have the r8000.  
Thanks for the answer
