For about a week now I am a proud owner of a shiny new Homey Pro. Now I am looking to connect my Netgear Meural 2 to it, but there is no app for it. I found, however, this in GitHub: [GitHub - edwinw6/homey-meural: Control your Netgear Meural digital art frame with your Homey. Set the brightness, turn it on and off and display your own images.](https://github.com/edwinw6/homey-meural)

It seems to be exactly what I am looking for, but I have no clue what to do with it. Does anyone know how I can install this on my Homey?

Hello Percy, and welcome to Homey forum.

Download the zip

and you’d be able to install it by [CLI](https://community.homey.app/t/how-to-cli-install-method/198) (command line).

(It should be compatible with the Pro 2023, because the SDK version = 3)

That worked inmediately. Thank you very much for your help, I can now control my Canvas 2 vie Homey.

Hi
Is this still working for you? Bought a Meural Canvas 2 as well and tried to connect it to my homey, but when trying to login with my Netgear account in homey, I always get an invalid credentials. However, I am sure that my netgear login is correct, as I am using a password manager. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

Despite using a pw manager, please try the following:

1. Copy your password
2. Login by manually entering your username, and pasting the password.

Hi @Peter_Kawa thanks a lot for the fast response. Unfortunately, that did not work. Tried all combinations:

- Type in username & password manually
- Type in username manually & copy paste password
- Copy paste username and password
All with the same result ☹

Maybe changing the Netgear password helps. I’m out of options.

Tried that as well already. Just to be sure we are talking about the same account. I am able to login with my credentials here: [https://my.meural.netgear.com/](https://my.meural.netgear.com/) . Is this the correct account or is there another one? Do I have to enable something to allow API connection? Wonder if it could be a location issue. I am located in Switzerland.

Could not find a solution for my issue, but found a plan B by using the local web interface as documented here: [GitHub - GuySie/ha-meural: Integration for NETGEAR Meural Canvas digital art frame in Home Assistant](https://github.com/GuySie/ha-meural?tab=readme-ov-file#local-web-server)
