The Netatmo mobile app allows the user to choose between different measurement units. It would be nice if the Homey Netatmo app could present wind strenth in meters per second m/s.

Units are currently hard coded into homey so can’t be changed easily, but as Athom is not reading along here very often, feel free to send in an [feature request](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc8j_GfID4adV4w5ogNtIX1-AqVWrkgIo3bOjkoNtqlHMM0xw/viewform).

Did this get any traction?
What are the units that Homey uses?

Any chanse of making this right?

“Meters per second (m/s) is the SI unit for velocity and the unit recommended by the World Meteorological Organization for reporting wind speeds”

> **[Wind speed](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_speed)**
>
> In meteorology, wind speed, or wind flow speed, is a fundamental atmospheric quantity caused by air moving from high to low pressure, usually due to changes in temperature. Wind speed is now commonly measured with an anemometer.
> Wind speed affects weather forecasting, aviation and maritime operations, construction projects, growth and metabolism rate of many plant species, and has countless other implications. Note that wind direction is usually almost parallel to isobars (and not perpendicular,...

I also support changing the wind speed unit to m/s. What is the plan for implementing this?
