# Need suggestions for bed automation

Hello 🙂

I have a bed with “ergomotion” technology, which is basically a bed with built it recliner, it came with a remote (picture below) and it seems to be RF based and works on some weird frequency. I also have broadlink, but it wasn’t able to learn the signal. I want to be able to automate it for my morning routine. Anyone have any ideas on how I can do that?

Looks like it’s working on 2.4Ghz (so same frequency as WiFi and Zigbee), using a proprietary protocol, which means chances to get it working are slim to none.

You could open the receiver and measure the connection with the motor unit. It could be possible the use an Io relay to control your bed.
