# More Characters shown in Variable Search

In Advanced Flow Editing Mode I can only see 16 characters when searching for a variable in the “Variables” button in the top of screen. Often I find I have to hover the mouse over variables to find the right one. There seems to be space to increase this. I have the same issue regardless of browser and zoom level.

The space you see is reserved for values:

However, the popup screen can be _ **much wider** _ imho, I’d like it to be twice as wide, or have it adjusted dynamically along with the browser’s screen size.
