Hi everyone,
I’ve successfully added a Virtual IP Camera to Homey Pro 2023, and it’s working perfectly. I can see live feed in the device view. However, when I try to create a Flow to send a push notification with a snapshot, the image tag from the virtual camera doesn’t appear in the Flow editor. The device itself isn’t visible when selecting image tags under “Send image push notification.”

I’m running the latest stable version of Homey and the Homey app. Has anyone experienced this issue with Virtual IP Cameras? Are there additional steps required to make the image tag available in Flows, or could this be a limitation of the Virtual IP Camera experiment?
Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

## Virtual IP camera

A virtual IP camera lets you add a camera image to Homey using an HTTP snapshot URL, for example: `http://192.168.1.100/snapshot.jpg`. After adding the camera, you can use its image tag in your Flows.

An image feed or a video feed?
If its a videofeed, you wont get an image token as far as i know.

Just FYI:
In Advanced Virtual Devices from the Device Capabilities, you can also add (as many as you want) image-camera’s.
I am already in the process of adding the option for live-stream/video camera.
Ill look into the option of making a snap-shot for video streams, so you could get a image(token) in flows.

(Not sure when it will be finished though)

Which camera do you use? Which connection type? RTSP for example won’t give an image tag

I’m using an Ajax Systems camera. I currently have it set up as an RTSP stream in Homey, but according to the specifications it should also support direct image snapshot requests. Unfortunately, the Ajax Homey app doesn’t provide the image tag in my setup. So I tried using a virtual camera with the video stream, hoping it would be possible to capture a snapshot that way.
