# Migrate from Homey (Early 2016) edition to Homey Pro (Early 2023)

What is the best way to migrate from the original Homey (early 2016) Edition to the new Homey pro (Early 2023).  
I only can find stuff migrating between pro versions of the Homey?  
I got several z-wave devices, so prior to plugging in the new goodies… i want to now what to expect for migration of my home setup.

The Early 2016 is also a Homey Pro.

@boertje77 how did your migration go? I am about to do the same.  
I have a regular Homey 2017 model and want to upgrade to Homey Pro 2023. Mostly Z-wave devices, and quite a lot of them 🙂

I would like to hear other people’s experiences before I go ahead.
