# M-Spa App for Homey

I have an mspa Tuscany hot tub at home, and there was no app to control it.
I’m not a homey developer, so I asked AI to create an app for me.

Initial tests show that I can log in, add the device, see values, and change settings.
I might publish it to the store later, but for now, it is way too early.
If you want to try it, you need to install it via the SDK.

@magter First of all, thank you for this app; I have been waiting for this for a long time! 👌
I have a few questions:
I have the MSpa Oslo model. Currently, I do not see support for the Ozone/UVC function.
And finally, are there any plans to integrate a widget for a Homey dashboard? ☺

Hi @Linden85
Sorry for the late reply. There is a dropdown at the top of one of the device pages, allowing you to toggle heater, ozone, UVC and filtering. Bubbles is on a separate page, as it is a multi level option.
No plans for additional features right now. But I can try to look into it during my vacation 🙂

We’ve been improving the M-Spa app in a pull request (German UI, smarter Flows, and a new dashboard control panel). Here’s a plain-language summary of what’s new

### What got better
**1. Easier to use in German**
Flow cards, device options, and app settings can show in German (and English / Norwegian as before).
**2. Smarter automations (Flows)**
You can build rules that check things like:
- whether the **set temperature** (the target you chose) is exactly / above / below a value
- whether **bubbles, jets, ozone, or UV** are on or off
Also fixed: some “is active / is not active” conditions that were wrong or always true, and ozone/UV that sometimes couldn’t be switched from a Flow.
**3. More reliable ozone / UV / jets**
On some spas those controls disappeared or failed with an error. The app now restores them when needed so you can control them again from the device and from Flows.
**4. New dashboard widget: “M-Spa Panel”**
An interactive panel that looks like the physical spa panel:
- current water temperature + target temperature
- heater, filter/pump, ozone, bubbles, UV, jets
- raise / lower target temperature by 0.5 °C
**How to add it:** Homey app → **Dashboards** → add widget → Apps → **M-Spa Panel** / **M-Spa Bedienfeld** → pick your spa.
_(Needs a recent Homey software version that supports app widgets, roughly Homey 12.3+.)_
**Jets button (Düse):** always available on the widget, like on the real panel — even on models such as Frame/Oslo where the app previously hid that button.

### Good to know
- **Oslo** spas are **Frame** series models. They are already supported like other Frame spas (temperature, heater, filter, bubbles, ozone, UV). You don’t need a special “Oslo-only” mode.
- If a spa **pairs** but **won’t control** , check app settings first: M-Spa **email, password, and the correct region** (ROW / US / CH), then “Verify and Save”, and that the spa is online in the official M-Spa app.
- The **heater timer** button on the widget is only a placeholder for now (not available via the cloud API yet and unnecessary, you can implement that using flows.).

Thanks for contributing to the M-Spa app. I have merged your PR and done some updates.
I still need to do verification but it is uploaded to testing, for that purpose.
