# Leviton Dimmer an "Unknown Device"

You make an excellent point about Homey’s dicey Z-wave range when pairing. The Zooz dimmer had a hard time latching on until I dragged the hub into the room using an extension cord. Once paired, it works without issue. But a valuable lesson for future installations.
