Does anybody know whether the Zigbee Dimmer Plug by KlikAanKlikUit (Trust), model [ZCC-250](https://klikaanklikuit.nl/product/zigbee-stekkerdimmer-met-statusweergave-zcc-250/), is supported by the [KlikAanKlikUit (Zigbee)](https://homey.app/en-nl/app/nl.klikaanklikuit.zigbee/Trust-Smart-Home-(Zigbee)/) app on a Homey Pro? Or perhaps as a generic Zigbee device, but including the dimming function (so not only on/off)?

I cannot find information on whether it is supported on the Homey app store page of the said app, nor in other topics on this forum.

As long as it uses generic Zigbee clusters, you should be able to add it. It mentions that it works with Hue bridge, and Hue only supports generic clusters for 3rd party devices so it should work with Homey as well

Thanks. The product page actually mentions that it should also work with Homey. But since the model is not specifically mentioned on the app page of the said app, I was in doubt.

It should still work as a generic device (on/off and dim at least, if it has energy monitoring then that feature won’t be supported, but still the basic commands like onoff and dim)

To answer my own question:

- I can confirm this dimmer plug works with Homey as a generic Zigbee device. Both on/off and dimmer functionality is available.
- The KlikAanKlikUit (Zigbee) app does not provide support for this plug.

No, it doesn’t work.

Homey says that the device is unknown.

I tried the Trust app from KlikaanKlikuit and the Zigbee app.

I returned the device to Hornbach.

You need to add it as a generic Zigbee device. Not via the apps you are mentioning, as they don’t support that plug.

I tried that also, with the same result: unknown device. It did nothing, not even on/out.

Strange, I added two of them a few months ago without any issue. Which Homey (Pro) model do you have?

Is that the message you get after choosing the ‘Zigbee’ option in the Technologies section in the screenshot I shared earlier?

If so, then that is strange. I also have a Homey Pro 2026 and had no issues with pairing them as a generic Zigbee device. They are recognized as a Socket Dimmer:

 ![IMG_3001](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/5/b/5ba7e4c4b325ecae6ba5fc22dfab1dc03d2bdfba.jpeg)

What happens if you remove the device from Homey, power down your Homey for 15 mins, then restart Homey and wait a few minutes for Homey to rebuild the Zigbee-network, and try again?

</div>

It means it is succesfully added as “app-less” zigbee device:

 ![Screenshot_20260919_000800_Ecosia](https://us1.discourse-cdn.com/flex025/uploads/athom/original/3X/7/5/75296a5efaccab9b9943c6b61eb256809d578cdf.jpeg)

Using the word “unknown” here is a bad choice by Athom; this confuses a number of other users as well → while nothing’s wrong: certain basic zigbee devices just don’t need any app.
“unknown” should be changed into something like “generic” imho.

You’ll find the added zigbee device in the Zone you had focussed when adding the zigbee device .

Hmm are you sure 😊?

in my case the pairing wizard did not gave this message, but continued with the usual steps like zone selection and settings screen in which you can change the name and icon.

He also said:

So my assumption is the device was not added (correctly).

A zigbee device with on/off & dimmer functionality should work as generic zigbee device.
Because of this line

> [@Han\_Kip](#):

> What to do afyer this message.

I guessume Han doesn’t know in which zone the device ended up.
The accompanying screenshot sais it was paired as unknown zigbee device, which _should_ mean it got added successfully.

It was also the message I got using the Zigbee app.
It was after that in my dashboard, but did nothing. I still use my very old KlikaanKlikuit (not Zigbee)
Maybe in future, it will eventually be added to the Trust app.
For now, I returned the ZCC-250 to the shop.
Thanks to all!!!
