# Kidde Smoke Detectors with Air Quality monitoring

Hello Lane,

if the device isn’t supported by a corresponding app, then generally it isn’t compatible with Homey.  
Exceptions: [Zigbee Lights](https://homey.app/en-us/news/whats-new-in-homey-v7-1/), Zigbee and Z-Wave smart plugs and in-wall sockets, and Matter devices.  
In the [“Welcome to the forum!”](https://community.homey.app/t/welcome-to-the-forum/31) post you will find links where you can request support for devices and brands.

As you mentioned HA, it’s also possible to import devices from HA to Homey with the official [Home Assistant](https://homey.app/en-us/app/io.home-assistant/Home-Assistant/) or the [Home Assistant](https://homey.app/en-us/app/io.home-assistant.community/Home-Assistant-Community/) community app.
