# IR commands sent twice

Anyone experiencing infrared commands being send twice by Homey’s native IR?

The Homey device seems to work fine, but all signals are send twice.  
I.e. for my TV box: when I send “4” (either by button in the Homey device or by flow), I get “44”.  
For the play/pause button the box pauses and immediatly resumes playing again.  
Such applies to all buttons/commands.

There is a devicesetting for repeats, but that is already set to 1 (I suppose the times a command is sent is meant here), and cannot decrease it any further. So 0 repeats is also not an option.  
Same behaviour when I choose my Bridge as IR “antenna” vor this device.

Have asked Athom for support, but in the meantime: anyone have an idea how to solve this?

I choose the Arris VIP2952 in Homey’s Infrared list to control my (Dutch) KPN 4K TV Box, which is a rebranded Arris VIP5202.  
If I choose another device, I get the same behaviour.  
Using HP23 on v12.2.1 firmware.
