# Ikea gatway not pairing with galaxy A40

Iam having problens pairing my ikea gateway to my ikea smart home app  
The app not reading the scanning code  
And i did reset the gateway and did deleted  
The app snd installed it again with no success!  
I tried to add it manuely with ip and serial  
And security code also wigh no success.  
It worked with iphone x to scan tje code  
But deleting and resetting everyrhing and trying with samsung galaxy a40 not working! Anybody has an idea?

Are you aware you are on the homey community forum?

If the app was connected through a iPhone it sticks and there is no need to do it again.
