# Hue flux lightstrip connect with homey

Hi all, does someone know if its possible to connect the new hue flux lightstrip to homey pro.

I am using the hue without the hue bridge app.

But the flux lightstrip is not listed.

Could the new device be added to the app?

I would recommend to use the Hue Bridge, as it supports firmware updates. But you should be able to connect it directly to Homey as a generic ZigBee device. You can go to Add device → ZigBee to add a generic ZigBee device (works with smart plugs and lights)
