# How to refrain from activating devices by mistake?

Is there a way in the Homey App to “Hide” devices?

When scrolling up and down in the device list you could easily activate a device by mistake, I did accidentally fire of one of my sirens earlier today when I was at work, people at home didn’t really appreciate this as I didn’t see that I activated the device… 🙂
