# How to find the hardware version of the Homey, and is there a way to receive the latest H/W version if you own a older version?

Hi all,

Is there a way to find the hardware version of the Homey, and is there a way to receive the latest H/W version if you own a older version?

I assume not everything can be solved/added with software only, so I would like to have the newest H/W.

Is that possible? For example by sending back the older Homey to receive a newer one?

If you experience issues with your homey, you should send a email to [support@athom.com](mailto:support@athom.com)  
But i don’t think there is a ‘newer’ homey available…

There is only one official version of the hardware currently (as far as I know). If you want to know sure mail [support@athom.com](mailto:support@athom.com)
