# How to better logic, a noob wanting to get better

hi all

so, i’m seeing the name better logic everywhere, and I notice that I run into some… problemz with my flows, or making double flows etc etc.

I read that bettr logic could help with that, but how.  
can anyone helpme whatit does and how to use it?

It is a Homey App [https://apps.athom.com/app/net.i-dev.betterlogic](https://apps.athom.com/app/net.i-dev.betterlogic)

After installing it, in the Settings tab, you can define the variables you want to use, and then you can use them in your flows.

@victoroos and as the name says, it is indeed better than Athom’s integrated logic. Also much easier to work with, and more or less designed for the ‘normal’ user.

Aka. Better to try and see how it works? Hm. Okay. Never dove into the homey logic one to begin with
