Hi there,

I have a Homey Pro and a few Innova fancoils in my home. The community-made [Innova fancoils app](https://homey.app/nl-nl/app/no.arkvaale.innova/Innova-Fancoil/) finds a few of them, but can’t find some fancoils.

I already tried contacting the developer, but he didn’t respond. That’s why I forked the app on Github and try to debug it with the assistance of ChatGPT (‘Athom Homey Pro Assistant’, a custom GPT made by petrichor.xyz and based on GPT-4o) I spent a few hours on it, but so far no luck. What (AI) tools do you use to debug Homey apps? I’m not a programmer, by the way, just a regular guy ; )

Thanks for your advice!

I’m able to build and app with a device and driver which now runs on my Homey. I can see some log items etc appearing in the terminal which is all fine. I’m quite a newbie with developing but I do know the basics. But I’m missing the part of debugging code, is it possible to step into the code with breakpoints while running the app in homey? If so, how …
