# How do I reach the Homey SHS using an url/via the web

Hi!
Just installed Homey SHS via Docker on Ugreen OGUS. 😎
Like all my other Docker images, would like to acces the homey server both locally as well as remote. Locally working fine (app/phone on same network).
But remote (eg via homey.DOMAIN.XYZ), via Cloudflare tunnel + NGNIX proxy… cannot get it working yet. I might be the first one to try ;-).
My usecase: manage my home (homey SHS) remotely ;-).
Any suggestions? tips? ideas?

_If you prefer, you can also set up port forwarding or place a reverse proxy in front — both methods are supported._
This is exactly what I am looking for but… how 😉

Thanks @Kyle_Michiels . Good alternative.
I was hoping I could link the app on ios to my Homey SHS remotely… to bypass the Homey servers 😉. Should have mentioned this in my inital post!

Technically this is possible with a VPN and then you can reach your Homey with the local IP adress and a local web account
