The app supporting Google nest Mini seems to not be available anymore. In the “Google Nest” app available now, the only applicable selection is “Max Hub”…which i don’t have, just a couple of nest mini’s Any suggestions? ---

I am talking about Google Nest Mini…not chromecast. Do you suggest that i should connect the hub as a chromecast? ---

I know it does not sound logical. But just add this app and choose this app when you add a device 🙂 ---

Depending how you are going to use your nest mini’s, a flow like mentioned in [Script to restart Google Chromecast](https://community.homey.app/t/script-to-restart-google-chromecast/80919) can be usefull (as sometimes your Google devices will lose connection with Homey). ---

I use it to say ‘Goodmorning’ to my son when his mini stops playing radio as alarm 😀 And I use [Geluidsbord App voor Homey | Homey](https://homey.app/nl-nl/app/com.athom.soundboard/Soundboard/) as sound for my doorbell. ---

I use it for warnings such as that the washingmachine or the dryer is ready. I also use it to warn that when it is raining and the backdoor is left open, that it must be closed. With the afvalkalender I get a warning that tomorrow the container (3 types) will be emptied. When there is a hedgehog in his feeding house we also get a warning that Spikey is having diner. When there is a waterleak from the dishwasher I also get a warning. Lots of usefull things you can think of. ---

I managed to add my Google Nest Hub this way, but the Nest Mini will not be discovered when trying to add a new Chromecast device. Any tips what I can try? 🙂 ---

This might help: force Homey to connect to the cloud by turning off your phone’s wifi, and have it use internet data. Now start Homey app and try to add the Nest mini. ---

I factory reset the Nest mini, and did the setup process again, now on the same network as Homey Pro. Now it worked without a problem 🙂 ---

Just got a nest mini but i can’t seem to add it to homey. I did the google home setup, gave it a name and it works. Now i tried adding it as a device on my Homey Pro but it can’t be found as a chromecast and the google nest isn’t giving an option for the nest mini. Selecting something else always result in no devices found. Anyone who can help with this? Really wanted this for some messages to be send around the house.
