# How do I backup my 5 Homey Pro's on 1 account to the cloud?

Well that’s quick. This long awaited flow im/exporter works for both types:

Copy / move devices is not possible.  
But when you restore a backup, you in fact “copy or move” (some) devices, just delete devices you don’t want afterwards, on both Homeys.  
It depends a bit if you have an empty Homey to work with or not, because _everything_ will be restored from backups.

## Note

when z-wave or zigbee is involved, never run a second Homey at the same time, until you made sure there’s no duplicate z-wave/zigbee devices left.  
(This includes Matter-over-Thread)
