Hi all,

I’m working on an app to manage my home battery, with help from AI. I’ve run into something I can’t figure out.

The app keeps restarting. It seems to work again afterwards, but I can’t find what made it stop. Homey’s crash counter goes up, and `crashedMessage` is `null`. I can see CPU and memory warnings, but I don’t know if either is causing the restarts.

I’m using a Homey Pro (2026), firmware 13.5.3, Node v24.22.1.

Where would you look to find the actual reason? Is there a log I’m missing, or something I can add to catch it next time?

Thanks,
Michiel

If you see those warnings, it’s likely one or the other is the cause for the restart. You can check Insights to see the CPU/RAM usage of your app.

If your app shows up [here](https://tools.developer.homey.app/apps), there might be more information available, otherwise you may have to run your app from a terminal using `homey app run --remote` and then don’t close the app (and keep your computer awake) until it crashes and (hopefully) show more information.
