you could use a Kiosk app, there you have the option to make session updates.
I use it on my own iPad for my Weather Station dashboard. 🙂

I use Sitekiosk

Hi danee,

I’m using it on a Google nest hub for some time now. Every night a plug switches off the power to an extension cord with some adapters and the hub plug.

In the morning when I wake up the power switches on again and the hubs boots to homeydash. Normally my settings like the clock would be the same but recently all the cog wheel settings are gone after reboot.

Now a reload of the page keeps the cog wheel settings but a reboot / ptp makes it forget my preferences.

I think it’s Google who changed something but just to be sure, has anything changed on your side wich could cause this behavior?

2nd, is there an url addition to force the clock and/or other cog wheel settings?

Hi Rick,

Nothing has changed on [homeydash.com](http://homeydash.com) (a little has changed on the beta, but only capabilities, nothing to do with settings).

Displaying [homeydash.com](http://homeydash.com) on a Hub is just a (lucky) side effect of the fact you can cast a website to it but its very limited. Development of [homeydash.com](http://homeydash.com) is aimed at devices with a browser which support certain functionality which I can rely on to stay supported.
On request I’ve added the possibility to add the background image and icon to the url but it has been a real pain to support it, so adding more variables to the url is not really the road I want to follow (plus it will consume a lot of my spare time to write it)

Hi, i use the Homeydash app for a time now withe the buienradar background.
But for a few days when homeydash starts there is the buienrader background ad then the background disappears. Homeydash works fine.
I use this link:
[https://homeydash.com/?theme=web&lang=nl&token=bla](https://homeydash.com/?theme=web&lang=nl&token=bla) bla bla&background=https%3A%2F%2Fapi.buienradar.nl%2Fimage%2F1.0%2FRadarMapNL%3Fw%3D500%26h%3D512&vadjust=-220

You can integrate Homey dashboard in DAKboard using the website/iframe integration. But it will cost you money, because you need a paid version of DAKboard.

> **[DAKboard - A customizable display for your photos, calendar, news, weather...](https://dakboard.com/pricing#integrations)**
>
> DAKboard is designed to be an always on, zero maintenance, ever changing display featuring the content that's important and relevant to you. A modern, wifi connected, digital photo frame. At a glance you can see your upcoming events, news and weather...

Alternatives are maybe [http://dashing.io/](http://dashing.io/) and [https://github.com/Freeboard/freeboard](https://github.com/Freeboard/freeboard) as dashboards to integrate homey dashboard within.

Sorry I didn’t know that some (other than Athom) people putted a lot of work in Homeydash, I thought it was a Athom official “product”. Actually, if Homey is made compatible with ImperiHome, it could solve a big part of the problem!

Hello, I have been a proud owner of a Homey for a few days now.
I have succeeded the web interface on the computer and ipad.
Now I would like to do this locally but I don’t understand the next script.

Who can tell me how to do this?

To run this locally:

```auto
npm i -g serve
git clone https://github.com/athombv/homey.ink.git
cd homey.ink
serve -p 5000 app
```

[How to get the token](https://community.homey.app/t/homey-ink-an-e-ink-homey-dashboard/12367/8). Credits goes to @robertklep!
