To get your hand on the tablet app, please follow the next steps: 1. Join Google Group - Homey Tablet Beta with the same email address you use on your Android tablet. 2. Download the Homey app at the Play Store. 3. Sign in to the Play Store and become a Beta Tester at the Homey App. 4. Update the Homey app to version 5.0.0. This update can take up to a day to get through. Hab mir jetzt die Beta mal aufs Tablet gezogen. Muss sagen, bin leider enttäuscht. Hätte mir das anhand der größeren Fläche etwas innovativer angepasst gewünscht. So würde halt jetzt eigentlich nur das Größenverhältnis der Buttons und die Unterstützung des Querformates eingefügt. Schade. ---

verstehe die anleitung nicht ganz. muss ich mich in der gruppe mit dem gleichen nutzer wie ich im playstore habe anmelden? oder mit dem gleichen nutzer wie ich mich bei homey auf dem tablet anmelde? wie werde ich betatester? wo ist dieser schritt? ---

Steht ganz oben in englisch. Bei Google Play auf der Seite der App. Das gilt schon lange für alle Apps, die eine Beta anbieten. ---

Hab jetzt mal ein Feedback im playstore hinterlassen… Mal schauen ob das jemand liest… Würde es einfach geil finden, wenn man die Übersicht der Räume und Flow Ordner immer links eingeblendet bekommen könnte… Damit könnte man fast ein komfortables Dashboard bauen… ---

How do you get the Homey App for iOS tablets? If I search in the App Store I just get the iPhone app. ---

I did all the steps above And updated my homey to version 5 But i dont see anything different, what to do? \*\* I already register as beta tester and joined google group. ---

Ich habe auf mehreren Tablets (Android und IOS) und Mobiles die Homey App installiert. Auf den Mobiles läuft die Benutzung von Geräten, Erstellung von Flows, App Generierungen, etc vollkommen flüssig ab. Auf den Tablets ist das Reaktionsverhalten eine komplette Katastrophe, egal ob Android oder IOS. Nach einigen Menu Selektionen, oder Karten in einem Flow wird die App in der Reaktionszeit immer langsamer und träger. Ich nutze aktuell die Version 6.2.0. Gibt es da irgendwo eine bessere (Beta)- Version, oder Tricks etc. ? I have installed the Homey app on several tablets (Android and IOS) and mobiles. The use of devices, creation of flows, app generation, etc. runs completely smoothly on the mobiles. The response behavior on the tablets is a complete disaster, regardless of whether it is Android or IOS. After a few menu selections or cards in a flow, the app becomes slower and slower in response. I am currently using version 6.2.0. Is there a better (beta) version somewhere, or tricks etc.? ---

Ich benutze Homey auf mehreren Android Geräten. Ich könnte jetzt nicht sagen, dass es immer langsamer wird. Das von dir beschriebene Verhalten kann ich so nicht bestätigen. I use Homey on several Android devices. I couldn’t say now that it’s getting slower and slower. I cannot confirm the behavior you described. ---

Hi @Undertaker deine Aussage hat mir keine Ruhe gelassen und ich habe nochmals auf den unterschiedlichen Tablets (Galaxy Tabs S2 / Ipad Air / Nexus ) getestet. Das es ein Speicher Problem ist war schnell klar, da die App ziemlich viel Speicher bei der Verwendung nutzt. Lass mich direkt zur Lösung kommen: Ich habe in Homey ziemlich viele Geräte und Zonen eingerichtet, die sich die App scheinbar im Speicher hält. Wähle ich direkt beim Start der App nur eine Zone aus ( unter der Anwahl Geräte \> z.B meine Sauna mit nur 4 Geräten), läuft alles auch auf den Tablets mit wenig Speicher und älterem Android (Version 7) problemlos ohne große Reaktionszeiten beim Erstellen von Flows, etc. Das scheint die Lösung bei älteren Androids mit wenig Speicher zu sein. Hi, Your statement did not leave me in peace and I tested again on the different tablets (Galaxy Tabs S2 / Ipad Air / Nexus). It quickly became clear that it was a memory problem, as the app uses quite a lot of memory. Let me come straight to the solution: I have set up quite a few devices and zones in Homey that the app apparently keeps in memory. If I select only one zone directly when starting the app (under the selection Devices\> e.g. my sauna with only 4 devices), everything also runs smoothly on tablets with little memory and older Android (version 7) without long reaction times when creating flows , Etc. That seems to be the solution for older android with little memory.
