Hi all,

I have a homey pro 2026. I woke up this morning with the message on my phone that homey lost connection in the middle of the night.

So i tried rebooting Homey. But it seems not to be working. I rebooted it via my browser. White Light \> Red Light \> Rainbow. And now i seem not be abble to login anymore and non of the devices seem to be working anymore.

I tried unplugging to power for 5 minutes, but the exact same thing is happening.

So i tried via USB to update the Homey.
But now it seems te be stuck at the end of verifying stage.

What do i do?

Just to be sure, every time you reboot you get the red pulsing light and than it continues ?

If so, you perhaps need to follow the steps shown in [Ring light](https://support.homey.app/hc/en-us/articles/7257933460764-What-the-LED-Ring-animations-on-Homey-Pro-mean) at the breathing red light part.

Also in the first part of the post you talk about the pro 2026 and later you talk about the bridge. Just to be sure which one is it 🙂

Do you have auto install of experimental Homey firmware updates enabled?
They released a beta update of the firmware yesterday.

If so, then you might want to reach out to Athom via [Support | Homey](https://homey.app/support/).

@SunBeech @Bas_Moerenhout

In case experimental updates happened to be enabled, it’s possible to revert to the stable firmware version;

- Don’t perform a “Factory Reset”
- Have a backup at hand, just in case
- Make it a habit to always disable “Experimental updates” after a beta firmware install

Follow this guide:

> [@\[HowTo\]\[Pro 2023/Mini\] Revert from experimental to stable firmware](https://community.homey.app/t/howto-pro-2023-mini-revert-from-experimental-to-stable-firmware/100752/1):

>
> 1. Disable experimental updates @ [Homey Developer Tools](https://tools.developer.homey.app/tools/settings)
> _ **Disabling experimental updates is key here!** _
> 2. Create a backup! _It’s important for the experimental updates to be disabled prior_
> NOTE: _You’ll need the backup when things went wrong; so, there’s no need for restoring backups when this procedure succeeds_

Not sure what the problem was.

But after waiting for like the entire day while it being stuck, Homey support said i can unplug it and plug in back in. I did, and now almost everything seems fine again.

Although all my Aqara FP300 sensors are out of wack for some reason.
Not sure if thats related. Guess ill “repair” the sensors tonight and see if everything is back to normal.

PS: Experimental versions are always off.
