# Homey reach and sauna

Im a potential buyer of a Homey pro but have some thoughts questions:

I live in a 200m2 house in 3 floors, how about reach? If I wanna control curtains in my kids room upstairs. Is that eg a challenge?

I’m also looking for a solution to put a thermometer in my sauna in the basement that can then notify me when it’s hot so I can go down and enjoy. Any advice on product for this?

Homey supports different kind of technology, both zigbee and zwave create their own mesh and reach is as good as your mesh. WiFi devices are supported too but only work if there is good coverage.

The antenna can also be modded, search for this on this site. This creates a bit more reach, helpful in some cases.
