# Homey Pro firmware updates take forever?

Hi

Updating the firmware is taking up to 2 hours ( currently 30% after 1 hour )

it does this with every update for months now … it was MUCH quicker in the past for me

is this normal ( can use during updating … butvthe longer in update phase the more risk i assume )

That’s odd. I have an Early23 and an Early26. The update takes less than 5 minutes for me 🤔🤷‍♂️.

Yes … well it used to be like 5 mins in the old days for me too … today i started the update at 7.00 … rebooted automatically at … 9.23

Will contact homey support
