# Homey pro 2023 into HomeKit with code 111-22-333 goes into HomeKit as 1112-2333 where am I going wrong as it doesn't allow me to separate them as PIN code

my HomeKit won’t let me put the PIN code as 111-22-333 only as 1112-2333

tried that but says unable to add accessory the setup code is incorrect

it finds the homey pro but when I put code in that’s all it does

Never mind, it looks like you’re reading some outdated documentation on the built-in HomeKit experiment.

When you enable the experiment you get a popup with a random PIN code, that’s the one you should be using.

Ignore the hyphens.
