> # Zigbee devices not responding after restoring a backup
>
> Every Zigbee device needs to be sent a repair command to start working on your new Homey Pro. To do so, go to the device settings on the Homey Mobile App and click “Try to repair” under Maintenance. In the [Homey Web App](https://my.homey.app/), you can right-click the device tile and click repair.

I have written a [[HowTo] Homey Backup and Restore - Homey Migration](https://community.homey.app/t/howto-homey-backup-and-restore-homey-migration/25732) before when Backup-Restore came available. Almost everything from the old topic is still true, Add to that: You need a recent successful backup of your other Homey; Not validated, but pretty sure: you can’t migrate back from a Backup if the new Model Homey to a older model Homey! Check all Homey apps on you…

Yes, that is due to the better Zigbee Chip, as described.

NO, the Device repair will keep the old Restored Device. All flows wil work after repairing every device once.
