Waarom niet gewoon een abbonement voor de 2016/2019 voor dit soort uitbreidingen? Denk dat daar best wel behoefte aan is. ---

Zou kunnen, maar die Homey heeft andere firmware en nieuwe features moeten ze daar dus ook weer apart voor ontwikkelen èn blijven ondersteunen. Ze kunnen niet iets via een abonnement aanbieden en een jaar later de stekker eruit trekken. Dus op een gegeven moment zullen nieuwe features toch heel begrijpelijk alleen voor nieuwe apparatuur uit komen. En daarbij heeft Athom best een goeie track record voor ondersteunen van oudere apparatuur en toevoegen van nieuwe features, maar ergens houdt het een keer op helaas… ---

Mja ik begrijp ook wel dat het een keer ophoudt met al dan niet gratis ‘aftersales’ kadootjes. Maar met de Brel app in dit geval kun je ook allerlei non-Brel 433MHz remotes inlezen. Voor de meeste “nieuwigheden” was en is er vaak een ((veel) beter) community alternatief.
