# Homey in local wifi network

Hi,

becauses of the project security purposes I need to connect to Homey WITHOUT an internet connection. Although the Homey & Phone App are on the same WiFi Homey seems to be offline and I cannot connect to Homey…

In the following phase of the project we would need also the commuication via MQTT with the application in the same network, but also without a need for internet connection.
