I have a device with `meter_gas` capability. But the cumulative setting ist not available in device settings. So if the device is set to cumulative in driver definition, it could work. But it’s not possible to set the cumulative flag for these devices like it’s possible for energy devices.  
Perhaps the dynamic device settings for cumualtive devices were not added to the app yet?
